FOOTBALL IS A BETTER SPORT THAN BASKETBALL

Football involves kicking a ball with the foot to score a goal. Basketball on the other hand involves using only the hands to eventually net the ball. There are many forms of football like American football, soccer and rugby. There are numerous reasons to say that football is a better game ahead of basketball. The reasons being global popularity, requires more physical activity, more entertaining and finally it is worth more commercially.

Comparison of Football and Basketball

To begin with football is the most popular game in the world. It is played by played by over 265 million players in over 200 countries (Kunz, 2007). Basketball is only popular in a handful of nations in North America and Philippines. Even though basketball is hugely popular in America, the NFL Super Bowl is the most popular sports event among the Americans.

What makes football better than basketball is that football is more entertaining. For instance, watching a football game does  not mean that one should only wait for the goal. The audience gets to see tactical defensive and offensive play during the game. The football players keep the audience alive whenever a player hits or tackles the opponent team. The crowd finds it more entertaining than basketball.

Football is easy to learn as it has few regulations and does not require special equipment to practice. Basketball requires that the players are very tall. On the other hand football does not require big body size. Players like Lionel Messi do well because of their skill, even though they are not so tall. At last, but not the least, football is a high quality game that requires special physique and fitness levels.

Football is big money globally compared to basketball. Companies spend huge sums of money on the World Cup, NFL and especially on Super Bowl. This is proof that football is more popular and most loved game in the world.

Barriers to Critical Thinking

1.     Misunderstanding what is meant by criticism:

Criticism is to express an opinion, whether negative or positive. People see that the criticism is only negative criticism.

example: Ahmed has a beautiful home. His friend Khaled believes that the home is great, but it needs more windows to the house to be bright.

       2.     Lack of practice and strategies:

There are several strategies for constructive. But it is important to follow the critical thinking to improve criticism strategy.

example: Hassan works in the accounts department but does not have enough experience because of specialization in the electronics department so he can not work correctly

3.     Reluctance to criticism those with more expertise:

To fear of a person with a high position does not mean you respect him. Respect must be for all people whether they are a high position or not.

example: When I'm with the dean of the college. I do not speak loudly because I respect him and I am not afraid of him

4.     Affective reasons:

A person who performs new works should be rewards and praises from officials

example: When I complete more work  than required of me. Managers will requite me and gives me a bonus

5.     Mistaking information for understanding:

Learning is to understand and work, should these two things available to do the work.

example: My friend wants to fit printing machine. Only because he saw a video on television about how to fix printing machine

6.     Insufficient focus and attention to detail:

The person that is not content to focus and understand the stuff that he must work on this stuff and mastered for improved handled.

example: Rashid depends on an assessment of the singers just because he accomplished singer. Not because he has the permission Excellence singers
